SC-1 ( EM Design of Small Antennas for Industrial Applications) has been moved from the Essex room to the Windsor West room (mezzanine level)

 Registrants in the symposium's short courses are advised to bring a laptop with them to short courses, as all material for short courses is distributed electronically on a CD-ROM.  Paper copies are not available.

Due to lack of interest, the following short courses have been cancelled.  

• SC 6 Intelligent Antennas in Intelligent Transportation Systems
• SC 7 "Virtual Drive":Optimization of Car Integrated Multiple Antenna Systems for Mobile to Mobile Communications
• SC 9 Dielectric Resonator Antennas, Theory, Design and Applications with Recent Advancements
• SC 12 Reflector Antenna Design and Analysis
• SC 14 Communication Satellite Antennas: System Architecture, Technology, and Evaluation
• SC 20 Radio Network Planning of 3.5G and 4G Mobile Networks

Regretfully, several social events have been cancelled due to lack of interest:

• Distillery District Tour
• Acquaint yourself with Toronto
• Canada's Wonderland
• Royal Ontario Museum / Gardiner Museum / Yorkville
• Toronto Zoo

 The opening reception on Monday, July 12 will be held at Roy Thomson Hall, a short walk away from the Sheraton.  A limited shuttle service will be available for those who do not wish to walk.  Please see the maps for more information.
